Up and Coming Good Reviewers

I've been checking out the Home page when I log on each time to vote on reviews. Wasn't there a way to show reviews that need votes?

I thought there was also a feature that let you sort courses on the map that need reviews.

not that I'm aware of for either points.

On your second point, courses with 10 or less reviews are not featured in the DGCR state rankings, thus i personally encourage people to review those courses, especially if its an up and coming stellar course.

there is a "# of reviews" option on the browse map page but it only lets you select a lower limit not an upper limit.

that would be cool if there were a few extra options for a range of reviews: 0-5, 6-10, 11-20

I want to give JuanA a shoutout too. Denver area/Colorado is a place I'd love to get out to do some disc golf tourism of some day, and his reviews I've found are consistently among the 2 or 3 best of any reviews I see on courses in his area.

I'm looking for dad_of_dg_junkies. Hey man, are you still lurking out there? If you are, then right before Father's Day would be a great time for another review. I hope the DG junkies haven't grown up and moved on to other things (like girls).

I noticed this morning that I've reached GOLD status, with 430+ positive votes on my 100+ reviews. I wish there was an easy way to find and thank the person who pushed me over the top. But given the focus of this thread, I can thank everyone here who's given me the "UP" - and tell every up and coming good reviewer to keep at it. Your contribution makes this the BEST resource for genuine and detailed information about courses! I'm taking the day off to play a handful of new courses tomorrow (including Iron Hill), so I expect to be writing reviews for the coming week or so. Cheers everybody!

Congrats on Gold, quite an achievement in a short time.

You gonna hit Muddy Run or Mill Brook after Iron Hill? Might as well add Maryland since you will be so close. :D

Thanks! We're saving MD for when we stay at a friend's in Havre De Grace later this summer. We're based in Northern NJ. Tomorrow's itinerary: warm-up at Riverview before we cross the bridge, Lum's Pond, Iron Hill, White Clay Creek, Canby West, Brandywine. Either Green Ridge or Bellevue, if daylight and arm strength permit.....

Speaking of courses that need reviews - I was looking at the MD state rankings (for some reason ?) and didn't see Creeping Creek - sidewinder22's course.
Going to the course page, I see it only has 5 reviews, in 8 years!

All that SW22 has contributed to this site, not to mention now having two courses, at a brewery, his course should at least be on the State Top Courses list.

If anyone has played Creeping Creek - Blue and not reviewed it, please write a review. If you are in the area, stop by, play the course and write a review. https://www.dgcoursereview.com/course.php?id=5593

(No liquid incentive was offered for this post. But it would be accepted!! :D)

Vote for wolfhaley

wolfhaley has more than enough votes to get his diamond, so would more people please step up and check out his excellent reviews to give him his 200 Uniques? That dude write great reviews and has an enviable lifestyle of bagging courses all over the place!

agreed Olorin. From personal experience, he's been a wealth of knowledge on my bagger trips to Wisconsin.

seems like there's been a recent uptick in quality and quantity of reviews as of late. 22 reviews so far today from 16 different reviewers.
