[Gateway] Gateway Wizard

Any info on this run of wizard? No tooling. I really like this run for a driving wizard.

I put two SS Wizards in my bag again and I'm just clicking with them.

They're a pretty close feel to older, broken in KC Pro.

Just got my order in of the new run PWP's. So lovely. That being said, don't really care for the new engraving underneath(It's been a while since I've refreshed my stock of wizards). When putting, my fingers are on the engraving. Feels a bit odd. Will just have to get used to it.

I seem to like Softs that are on the SS side of things, or SS that is closer to Soft. Firm enough, but not quite as firm and a tend to have a little more grip to them. When it starts getting a little colder, I like the extra grip, and it doesn't hurt any when my hands are sweaty in the Summer either.

I actually just go a tournament stamped black OG that is very stiff and has a great grip to it. I hope these are not a rarity b/c I liked it from the moment I picked it up. Never felt an OG that was this stiff.

I like stiff Wizards. Fossil, SB12, G25, PWP/PW, some good firm S -- blend like that.
I also like to use the same plastic for putting always -- I putt (and never throw) g25 Wizards. They are low profile, sharp nosed, gritty and overstable.

For throwing, I like to work my stiff Wizards so that they have a depression inside the rim almost like a thumbtrack and a very flat flight plate. I don't like any dome at all on my putters/throwing putters. Then I look for blunter-nosed Wizards for overstable throwers and flatter/sharper nosed Wizards fro go-straight to understable work.

I love that you can call the factory, describe what you want, get a couple testers at a reasonable price. And then buy a stack of the ones you like. Especially for the putting putters, I like knowing I have enough Stickin' Putts stamped G25s to last me a decade or more.

I usually prefer stiff Wizards, but it's starting to get cold around here.

The stiffer SS's will work for now.

If I stick with them into the spring, I'll pull out my super stiff and chalky, baby blue Softs from years ago.

It's tough to pick a fave wizard.

I have a stack of soft wizards that start out slick but get very grippy after a quick wash. I love them. Great grip and nice and flat. Stiff.

I'll toss a $$$ organic or eraser in the bag when the temperature drops.

I have too many driving wizards. The PWP are fun to use but most of mine are from the bad batch. They seem to start deteriorating when exposed to sunlight (not kidding). I'll probably run through those and then figure it out.

I might be alone on this but I prefer firmer SSS runs for my driving and upshot discs. The added grip makes it seem like I can control it better.

For putting I like S for warmer months and firm black SS for the colder months.

What type of wizard has the most grip?

I'd vote rff or $$$ but I'm probably forgetting something.

This latest run of PWP Wizards are no joke. I just got in a few from the black Friday sale, and instantly ordered more. I have been putting exclusively with Fossil Fuel Wizards for about a year now. They might even be a tick firmer then FF with great grip. Super flat but with a slight shoulder. The Fossil Fuels are pretty freaking flat with very slight or no shoulder. The new PWP are flat just has a slight shoulder. Either way this latest run feels great and is the first run I have bought a stack of since fossil or fossil fuel.

Yes the latest run turned out the way we wanted them. Stiff/firm, flat, grippy, low shouldered. That's why we removed the second P from PWP so they are now Pure White Wizards :)
