    Sandtrap???

I see S&D as having a special place IE the sand trap, but not all the way to the tee. even if the green is allowed to change shape there should be a limit to the distance from the basket. I would suggest that the max distance from the edge of the green to hole would be 15 meters.

    Sandtrap???

David I was thinking the S&D would be the equivalent of a sand lie. The S&D may not be a good enough "penalty" but I think adding a throw is too much. Scarp I do believe that greens should be shaped differently for each hole. How about very rough concrete, that has bumps and valleys but not...

    Sandtrap???

The beer is working :) I like your points but what about in the middle of the fairway, on longer holes. Where you can't go past your lie ie stand and deliver.

    Sandtrap???

I usually play Valarta-ast in Madison WI where they have mound on the first hole and last 9. During the last tournament the area around the mounds and the mounds themselves were OB sort of. Stroke penalty but you had to throw from where it lied. This got me thinking about a type of "sand trap"...

    How different is "different"?

I think of this poll as a statics question. What is the noticeable difference after 250ft? 20ft is about where I would change discs.

    Elver and Hiestand Park

last time I played Hiestand the course was ripped to shreds. The fast way to fix it is to close the course for a year and reseed but this would cost a huge amount and not be very popular. The other way is to fix the course slowly and make changes year over year. With over twenty years of damage...

    Why measure distance in feet?

There is two types of feet in disc golf. One that has a standard and can be measured by a over the counter ruler or measuring tape and has the symbol Ft. The other is used on the internet ,has no standard or reason, AKA DGCR Ft.:D

    OB Questions

The disk has to be surounded by out of bounds to be OB. The one senario of the concrete pad that the disk slid to other side is IB it is touching IB. The water senario the disk is OB, the disk is surouned by water. The one at the edge of the road the sand I would call IB because the pavement is...

At what distance would you be content with throwing?

I would like 375 flat no wind. I think this would let me be competative on the local courses. I hate to upshot when the others in my group are putting.

[Vs.] Advantages of same mold vs. variety?

Call me strange but i like to have differant molds. I carry about 12 disks and like the differant feel to remind me of how to though a shot. I just hate to loose a disk that is been beat to ireplacable.
