I don't think the course is forehand friendly except for 2 holes, hole 4 (big FH), and 14 (I think). The rest of the course is very RHBH friendly. Hole 4 can be birdied with a backhand and hole 14 can be birdied with a thumber over the top.
The tournament is one of the best of the year, too...

Worlds course designers are some of the best. They would never make an island hole without a drop zone or giving you a risk reward option. Rarely will you ever see a hole designed like the 303 islands. I'm sure the Phenix boys were inundated with complaints and will change those holes next...
