How do you deal with the Winter?

I moved to Madison, WI this summer for residency, from Memphis, TN. Talk about a huge difference regarding DG seasons and playability. The summers in Memphis absolutely suck due to the extreme heat: imagine South Florida in July/August, but without the beach, or daily afternoon rain to help...

    [Innova] Goodbye to the Teerex?

Dude seriously, just stop. The comparisons you are making regarding the flight characteristics of these discs is downright comical. You've basically said that since the guy loves throwing a Firebird for sidearm, he should really try and throw an Archangel because they fly the same. And the...

    The Many differant Teebirds!

On days where the wind is stupidly harsh, gusty and strong, I'll putt with my Banshee. It sounds stupid, but I normally only carry a Magic (main putter) and Wizard, both of which get blown all over the place when the wind is too strong.

    Technohic Drive Critique (Video)

First off, the points I'll make are covering problem areas that I've had to work in the past, so hopefully what worked for may possibly help you out a little. 1. As mentioned by dodgeball, the footwork is the first issue. You'll gain much more consistency if you have an X-step (if thats what...

    Guys draggin carts along...

At which course does this idiot play and specifically when does he play? I live in Madison, and I'd LOVE to make a trip down there and have him tell me that I cannot play through as he unloads his bin of discs. I don't care if he or anyone uses a cart (to each their own), but I cannot stand...

Vibram Discs (don't get caught without your rubber)

Since this seems to be the end-all-be-all knowledge fountain pertaining to VIbram, I figure I'll ask my question here. I normally throw a Wizard/Magic combo for my short driving (anything out to around 275-300 if I have the height clearance) and putting duties. I love these discs, but am...

how many discs are in your bag?

12 discs with 6 molds. I always carry backup for the unforeseen occurrences of disc golf.

    [Innova] Banshee or Firebird

I've carried both and decided long ago that the Banshee definitely works better for me in almost all ccircumstances. If you told me that I could only carry 2 discs to play a round with, I would carry a Banshee and either a Buzzz or Wizard in the second slot. I've done it too, and scored the...

    Echo Star Wraith differences?

I've been using an 175g Echo Star Wraith (with the new E* stock stamp, not the 12x) in the darker green lately for my very long distance drives. Still use the PD, but the Wraith is still longer. For some reason, I feel that the E* version of the disc had more repeatability in terms of distance...

    [Gateway] Let's Talk About Wizards

This. I have the exact same disc, and I need to find another one. It was the first wizard I purchased, and I absolutely love it for putting. For driving, I'll use a SS Organic or a regular SS. I even like driving with the chalky blue one too.

    Looking for a new driver

I'd recommend a Pro (new run with the numbers printed on front) Leopard or a Champ Teebird. Leopard is great because you can finesse the throw a little more and produce a dead straight drive, which means more accuracy if you are on a tightly wooded course. Here is a little tip for you. One of...

    [Innova] Echo Star Wraith differences?

The wraith also has the stock E* stamp, not the 12x Ken Climo stamp if that makes a difference.
