affordable basket>??

How they are built has a lot to do with it.welds etc.

Real course baskets are different from practice versions.

So here are pics of the three baskets that seem to be almost the same, except for the color (and incorrect assembly on the blue pole basket).

Orange Pole, $117.95, double chains.

I have the orange one and 100% satisfied with it as a great putting practice basket. I have 12 Insteps that I've added inner chains to on my course and this orange one stays inside.

I've got the pacific outdoors with inner chains I have added. It's not course quality, but it has lived outside for 6 months without any real deterioration. I do plan to replace the outer chains with heavier ones.

I'm happy with it. It is a practice target, and works well for that. Does it catch as well as a competition grade basket? Almost, and it's a lot cheaper, and I putt better now that I have a good practice target.

I have two m-14 baskets. No chains added. They are decent, a few spit outs on faster putts but nothing too crazy. Shouldn't be too hard to add chains. Putt on it for hours a week and no problems. About 120 depending where you buy it.

Here's the lowest cost I've ever built - free! $5 if you buy all the materials. And assembles fast. I like building targets :)

I think the Mach Lite is the best of both worlds. Best in portability and still catches well. But it's fabric/chains. But extremely portable.

Just re-read OP about putting it outside. Sounds like this isn't moving around much. Buy a basket that's built for outdoors. Mach 2. Unless you're in a real dry climate, I wouldn't put any old metal thing outside permanently for the non-winter.

THANK YOU EVERYONE for your imput you all helped alot. after doing research i went with the new mvp black hole practice basket. http://kwsdiscgolf.com/product/mvp-black-hole-practice-basket/ i will be able to use this downstairs as well in my backyard. i have a shed in the back thats empty that i also store my (ball golf) target net. so i dont have to worry too much about the weather destroying it. thank you again!!

Looks identical to the park and Sun baskets costco sells.
Good bang for the buck

Discmania Lite basket is great. 59€ great price I got it. (thats like 65$ I think). Horizontal chains make it catch real well despite only 1 layer. Super easy to assemble due to quick locking mechanism.

Eh ive been happy with my $70 costco basket. Standing tall for 3-4 years now.

If just for practice its not that big of a deal. Played actual courses with worse lol.
