Greatest Disc Golf Trip Ever?

We've been visited by a lot of travelers on long trips, stopping by on their way between bagging Augusta/IDGC and Charlotte. I'm sure many of those trips would rate high on a list of Best Disc Golf Trips.

Though it's made me lament that nobody ever visits Stoney Hill during their Tour of Crappy Courses in the Southeast. We'd really stand out to them, if they did!

In May of 2015 I did an 11 day trip to play:

Ashe County in NC
Harmon Hills, in TN
Coyote Trace in KY
Richmond Hill in NC
Stoney Hill in SC
3 at IDGC in GA
R Smith in NC

full details can be found here: http://sedgleywoods.com/page/3

I rest my case.

Though there is some doubt about the veracity of DiscNDav's story. In his blog he says I beat him; whereas my main job here is to play so bad our guests' look like stars in comparison, and I'm quite proficient at it.

Big Thanks to my friend Gary for joining me for my 250th course at Roy G, and thank you to my friend and DGCR member gotoguy for joining me at Harry Myers.

Thank you as well to all the trusted reviewers, that helped me target courses. Many thumbs up already and a few more to come. I want to say Pizza God and Dreadlock86 and neck and neck for the most reviews that I read on this journey.

I'd have to say the two best road trips I've taken were:
X-mas 2012
Timberdoodle Thicket
IDGC; Headrick, Jackson, Warner
Magnolia DGC, Live Oak, FL
Flat Rock
Flyboy
Morristown Kiwanis

X-Mas 2017
Hobbs Farm
Tyus
New World
Langley Pond
Harmon Hills
Sugar Hollow
Wanted to work Bill Frederick's into that trip, but the entire park was closed... gates locked.

May 2017 was almost spectacular:
Forsythe
Harmony Bends
Lakeside/Birdland
Heritage
Water Works
All 3 Ozark Mtn courses
...I called ahead about Ozark, and the guy said the grass would be a bit long, but they'd be playable.

"A bit long" my @ss! The grass was thigh high.
Had to concede after about 4 holes worth of taking forever to find shots that landed in the fairway. Having to search for bad shots in thick undergrowth is one thing. Having trouble finding good shots in 3' of grass on hilly terrain is not the way to enjoy epic DG.

My best DG trip was last year. Tyus, Hobbs Farm and Georgia Canopy Tours were the featured courses.

This year's trip may surpass it. IDGC, Hippodrome and Langly Pond will be the featured courses, along with some bangers of course!

Langley is worth the drive if you do not get to play anywhere else. I heard the Hippodrome was closed btw.
