[Question] ID a disc or ask "What is the story on this disc...?" - Take II

Total guess but maybe Scorpion on the white one.

I was thinking it might be that too. The diameter is listed as 8.25" though. I think that puts it about the size of a putter or driver.
Do Scorpions have a larger diameter?

These are two discs listed at Marshall Street Disc Golf right now. Any ideas what they are?

This one is listed as Unknown Wham-O Innova.
San Marino embossed. Feels like DX. Beaded, thick, concave rim. 8 9/16″ diameter.

Whamo disc could be 78 mold if it has bead...
77 mold if no bead...
Yeah, the top one looks like a Stingray with Wham-O rings so 77 Mold.

The white one I think everyone is on with the Whippet call.

Okay good folks of DGCR, trying to figure out what mold this disc is...def MF and gas Innova tooling...can anybody make out the abbreviated code???

Scorpions are big. Looks like a possible old mold whippet to me.

I thought scorpion too.. But 8 3/4" wing.. Looks right though.. My measurement not PDGA or anythin.

And pink disc, if you didn't blank out the phone # I could call the dude that owns it and ask :D

HELP - What disc is this???

I have had this disc for many years (5-7?), it was bought for me by a friend. It has no branding or markings on it. I throw a lot of innova discs and it doesnt feel like any plastic they make. It is a driver and holds a pretty straight flight line. Any ideas???

The discwing quarter K was black like this and didn't have any markings. Can you scratch it with your thumbnail?

The soft/rounded profile does look similar to a QK I have, can't speak for the color though. The one I have has more raised markings on the back than any other disc I've seen.

Hey guys,

I bought a lot of used discs and specifically this one caught my eye but I can't seem to find where it came from. Any ideas?

Howliewood was a tournament in Olalla, Washington at the now-defunct Dalaiwood course. People dressed up in halloween costumes for the tournament, I remember reading about it way back in the day. Would have been early 2000's.

Thanks!

Oh super cool! Thank you I would've never figured that out! Do you think it's rare or worth much? Or should I be throwing it?

I cannot speak to worth, round flying plastic circle WANT to fly in the woods, IMO. But, it is an old disc, a limited edition and in a discontinued plastic. I am sure it would be sought after by someone.

its black which is a pita to find after throwing

it wouldnt pull over $40 on a hot day on fb inflated pricing

not really worth much to a thrower or serious collector

cool piece of history tho

It's a beat up old X wasp with a cool stamp. If it were mint maybe $40-50 but it's just a thrower. I would guess $15-20 but there are probably Wasp experts who know better.

Discraft Surge 1.7 special edition

I think this is from a tourney in Dailawood from way back in 2006. Has a weird patent pending grip thing. Anyone know anything about this one?
