I need some help on some return etiquette.
I stopped and played a course while on my way to a camping trip. I found a disc with no name or number and picked it up and put it in my bag. I noticed the disc was a collectible and posted it for auction online because I am not a collector. A few hours after posting I received a pm asking if I found the disc at the course I found it at. Long story short, the guy had sold it to his buddy and he dropped/lost it before he even threw it. He said he'd get a hold of his friend and he'd let me know if he wanted it back or not. Afte two days he responded that his friend wanted it back and provided a mailing address.
I was fine with returning it and I'm not looking for any type of reward, but I feel that I should at least be compensated for the buying the packaging material and postage.
I am just looking for some insight. Should I just pay out of pocket and ship it (and earn disc karma that I feel like doesnt exist) or have I done enough to where I can call it my own.
