Reptilian Disc Golf
Now that I've started designing and creating molds, I've paid close attention to the process of hype & release from disc manufacturers. Some releases (any MVP/Axiom) seem to be a homerun right off the bat while other companies hype up a disc, only to see it fail to meet expectations.
I admire the process of Legacy hyping up the Outlaw for months, retooling to get a perfect flight and then releasing it to overwhelmingly positive reviews. I also think that MVP played the Aton release perfectly.
The mold however that seemed to be released into mass hype and then kinda just fade away was the T3. I have one in my bag and it really is a neat disc. It seemed to me that the disc was everything that most players want in a Teeb. That said, I rarely hear it discussed.
What are some other molds that were incredibly hyped up but seemed to just kind fall flat or not remain "In the Bag" of the masses?
