got my notice today! they tried to deliver it today but of course they tried before 3 and i was at work
gonna pick it up tomorrow though!
My SS pack had a pink floppy vibram mini that the kids have already taken over, a 167 blue Star Valk that will sit in waiting if I ever lose my CE Valk turnover disc, and a 172 yellow r-Pro Dart that I plan to use in my winter bag. Someone in Sandiego CA, I did some searching and couldn't figure out who - so it stays a secret. I'm torn though, both discs are used (not much, easily 9/10), and I started out with a bit of disappointment. But that's grinch-like, I'm grateful for the gift, both discs are ones I'll either throw or pass forward to some newbies I see out on the course in need of some better plastic. Thanks SS!!!!!
Playing devil's advocate here....
Deadline to send out SS package is next week, 12-15-2010. As of today, how could anyone say that they have not received their package? Gotta allow for delivery time after 12-15.
I know plenty of lazy disc golfers. I also know plenty of procrastinators who play disc golf. From my POV, there is no need to give them anything but a friendly reminder unless the deadline passes without dropping a gift in the mail.
Are you just getting ahead of the game and expecting SS participants to NOT send out a gift? If so, you should change your handle to Mr. Scrooge for the rest of the holiday season.

Also, we have uncovered a SS screw up that we are working on fixing. I played SS twice, but received a third gift from a completely random person. That person says they are waiting on a gift from me. I'm pretty sure I will be sending them something since they obviously do not have anyone!

I'm pretty sure the whole thing was in good humor from apoth's first post about the lynch-mob. Then I encouraged him, because the thought of it made me laugh. As to those concerned about getting hosed....yeah, I'd say it's not even the 15th yet. Though I can see how sending yours early and having to wait would be tough.

I agree with you on this. I just don't want to see anyone put the cart before the horse...esp when you're talking about forming a lynch mob.
I am not a super strict religious person either, but I certainly believe in the spirit of giving. I think 1 or 2 of your custom dyed discs would have made an excellent gift package.
thing about my dyes is they spontaneously combust if they come within 1000' of a protastant church.:|

(1) Innova First Run Eagle.......An Eagle was one of my favorite discs before I lost it in the water, maybe I will have better luck with this one.
(2) An Innova Factory Second X-Out.........I wonder what type of disc it is?
(3) A Morley Field DG Course mini.....my first mini ever, I've always wanted one.
Sent mine out today, to Southern Califorinia.........e.t.a. ---7-10 days.
I don't have a camera to provide any pics yet, but I will try and get one soon.
Thanks to Bill & Christy as well as Kwick for organizing this, it's been a lot of fun.

Yeah I made the cut but allot of friends and employees that busted there ass all summer didn't. Man, worst feeling ever by far, especially in a management position and comes right out of left field!!!!
On the flip side package went out today and will send a second follow up, package also because I feel like a dbag!
