[Axiom] Axiom Proxy

I'll be making my way to Glide as well before the badger game to check these out along with the Theory. Wife is gonna be pissed.

Really looking forward to hearing how more people like the Proxy. Took it out to the local 9-holer today, and it is just a blast to throw. Can hold a nice glidey hyzer, or be forced on an anny, but it really just shines holding whatever line you throw it on. Also ran some nice longer putts than normal, too.

If they release this in Election, I could see carrying the Proxy as my only putter. Hoping that happens (or, as my personal theory runs, that the Atom is basically the base version of the Proxy).

And now, some Proxy porn:

Well like a moron I went to a tourney yesterday and used my proxy without test throws, lol. It was a tad flippier than I expected but it may just have been my bad form, when throwing tunnel shots. Between rounds I practiced some putts with it. Wow! This thing holds a great line, dead straight from 80ft in, cant wait for the baseline version of this.

Have t has time to throw my proxies yet. Does anyone out there putt with anodes and can compare the 2? I putted anodes since they released, but never truly loved the feel of them, and the proxy is feeling like just the ticket.

Just got back from a work trip and everyone has 167g and 174g and nothing in between. Curse you all. My Envy is magical at 171g and I don't want to mess with success.

Will one be a putting putter? I can't decide what to do about that since I hate my Anode.

Not sure. I will certainly putt with them some just to see how they compare, but I like softer putters (soft P Anodes right now,) and haven't really ever liked putting with N as much.

My original thought was to hopefully beat at least one into having a little HS turn, but it would seem the Atom may wind up being that guy..? Otherwise I see them being the powered down compliment to the Envy for me, like more naturally straight/holding annys @ 200 and <, and maybe those taller shots that drop down straighter without the bigger Envy fade. Judging from what guys are saying that have thrown them, I can see pairing one with a P Envy I have, which seems a bit less glidey than the Ns I have.

So, after all day wedged in the box, one of the Proxys was warped-tacoed...but with about an hour with a heavy book on it, it's back to normal. P and N plastic has great "memory" or whatever you call it.

I got to throw a few Proxies today. Off the tee, they fly like my very beaten Envy... very straight. A little bit of turn, and a little bit of fade. My beat Envy goes a little bit further, but that's likely due to the added glide of a beaten disc.

I was really hoping they'd replace my Anodes as putters. I've been putting/upshooting with the same two Anodes for a few years now. I like the flight of Anodes off the tee, but I tend to not throw them because they are uncomfortable to grip (they're very deep). It's entirely possible I had a bad day putting, but I was missing short and left all morning with the Proxies.

I got a 171g Proxy if you want it. PM'ed you the other day. Let me know.

So I got in a couple rounds with my Proxy. Nice compliment to the Envy. I really liked it for putting. Just when I got used to soft for putting...arghhh. Felt good off the tee as well. Gonna give it some time to see if it can take out my Anodes.

Hmm what will be the axiom disc released alongside the atom? Soft theory or proxy? Either one would be fine by me. I would prefer the theory first, mine is a stiff slick mofo.

Ha! I am dumb and don't know how to make popcorn, only :) or :(
