inbounds Disc Golf Flight Chart Updates

Two Old School Millennium Drivers Added!

Retro Tuesday! Millennium Tachyon LF & LS Added to the inFlight Guide!

http://tinyurl.com/d2q4goa

The Tachyon LF (Long Fade) is a super overstable driver, while the Tachyon LS (Long Straight) is more of a finesse driver with much more turn than the LF but it also has a fair amount of fade and could cover a variety of shots.

One new disc coming later tonight!

Initial Flight Chart for the P3 Available!

Evening Update: Discmania P3 initial flight chart added!

http://tinyurl.com/clok23d

Here's what Discmania says about their latest disc:

The P3 is a lower profile stable putter. It has an XD shape, but flies like a faster big bead Aviar. It has good stability at higher speeds. Ideal for approaches and drives in calm or windy conditions.

Retro Tuesday Flight Chart Added! Innova Dolphin

This understable, short-range fairway driver is one of the more highly-coveted circle-stamped Innova discs and was only produced in 1994-1995.

New Latitude 64 Disc Added!

Somebody order a Swedish burger? Take a look at the initial flight chart for this beefy animal from Latitude 64, the Stiletto:

Tomorrow is retro Tuesday...which "new" old disc will be featured this time?

correction for the Lat 64 Mace

I see in the Lat mids, you have the Mace as more over-stable than the Pain, which is not the case. When Lat first published the numbers, that is what they advertised. I bought one for that reason, and found it to be between the Pain and Core. (Dont' get me wrong, I like it a lot) Since then, Lat has changed their numbers on their website to: 5, 5, 0, 1.5 I might put the turn at -1...

I thought you would like to know.

Thanks for the feedback. Our data comes from a variety of sources. While the manufacturer's ratings factor into our flight values, they're not the only place where we get information. After some review, it appears that a few of our data sources have changed in the past few weeks (while others have not). You can expect to see an updated flight chart later tonight, although it looks like it will dial in a little closer to the pain at that point. Stay tuned!

Any imminent plans to chart the Westside discs that came out in the spring (Stag, Underworld, Tursas)? At present it looks like the percentages are derived solely from the manufacturer's numbers.

The data for the Westside discs currently comes from at least three different sources, all of which have the same numbers as the manufacturer. Considering that there are already multiple data sources available for these discs, there aren't plans to have the inbounds testing team independently evaluate these latest releases.

That's a bummer, since in my experience those numbers aren't telling the whole story by far, especially in the Stag's case. But I understand that you have to pick and choose...

We'd love to be able to have our testing team huk every disc out there, but the budget definitely doesn't allow that. It's great getting test discs from several of the manufacturers to send to our testers, but even that becomes costly over time.

Preliminary flight charts for the Prodigy Fairway Drivers added!

F1 • F2 • F3 • F7

These discs recently hit the market and our testing team is still evaluating them (so expect updates to the flight charts), but we had some initial flight data available and wanted to give everyone a ballpark idea of how these discs will fly.
