So there I was. Standing in the aisle of a big box sporting goods store. I had just shanked a disc I had no business throwing into a huge cluster of serious thorns. This disc caught my eye. The tag said great for beginners, easy to throw, EXTRA DISTANCE EFFORTLESSLY. Oh yeah, I bought a groove. but in my defense, I bought five other discs first.
Now I am a complete convert to the school of technique. I work my midranges and when I take people to play for the first time I always put my 150 DX Leopard in their bag and no other drivers. Then when they complain about the cool drivers I'm throwing I hand them the Katana thats in my bag for this very purpose and outthrow them with a mid.
I just wish that I had been around when I started playing. I could have saved a lot of money and been much better than I am now.:wall:
