what are you taking out of your bag...2013

I don't see any of my workhorse molds changing, almost all of my shots are with wizards, rocs and PDs and I haven't found anything to push those out. It's possible I'll play around with some distance drivers, I like the blizzard bosses I have but I haven't found any backups for the ones I have (bubbles in the flight plate) so I may go back to pro and star destroyers or try some of the newer high speed stuff on the market.

Fuses are out, Star Stingray is back in.

Pro Rhyno is out, Zero Sinus is in. It does all the Rhyno tricks, stops where it lands, headwind putts like a boss, low glide and a good fade where the rhyno is just straight these days.

Comet hopped in and out of my bag, it is lovely but too deep. Replacing it with throwing my Opto Pure farther :D

Sidewinders are in for max D stable (champ) and max D turnovers (star). and Saints are sticking around as my workhorse.

The disc I'm throwing less and less is the Teebird. :( I also don't throw my Firebirds much, but I'm happy to have them when it's windy.

The bag that sounds ideal, in theory:
Pure (EZE, Zero and Opto), Sinus, SSS Magic
Drone, Buzzz, Stingray
River, Saint, Sidewinder, OLF

im getting rid of my buzzz for the core. and possibly switching from my anodes to the zero line pure. I think that the zero line pure is the best feeling disc i have ever felt.

I will be getting rid of my leapord and my destroyer. I just cant throw that leapord well anymore. I can throw the destroyer pretty well but i always find myself reaching for something different. i will probably replace the leapord with a viper. I lost one in the pond at la mirada a few months back just when i was starting to love it and i wanted to try a leapord so that replaced it. Everyday im thinking i wish i had that viper. The destoryer is probably getting replaced by a starfire. Eventually once i settle into some molds i like i will probably only throw 3 or 4 molds for my distance drivers and 2 for my fairway.

Dropping my Volts and probably picking up a PD to try. Volt's have just gotten too flippy on me. Also there's a good chance that my Comets will be replaced by Fuses and my Buzzzes with Cores. I'm also thinking of just dropping my Halos and just throwing Forces as my main drivers. We'll see what happens when springtime comes.

I'll take those Halos if you wind up looking to get rid of them...:D

Out:
Putter-DX Aviar
Mids-Comet (too deep for me and esp cost too much), Cryztal buzzz (this one was in the stable/underS slot)
Driver-Beast, River, PD

In/Trying out:
Putter-R wood Aviar
Mids:GL Fuse, DX Roc
Driver:patriot, Leopard, Nuke, Havoc, Destroyer...Trying to see which fits my game best.

The X Nukes went bye bye really fast. That is mostly because I picked up a Lace or two and can make them do all the shots I was making with three X Nukes. The Laces are way more consistent, it is just sometimes tough to remember I am throwing a Lace and not an X Nuke.

Does a lace glide like a nuke? Do the feel similar in the hand? I love z nukes. The rim feels perfect in my hand.

during the spring my backup jackets will be taken out. I think I'll replace them with either rain gear or more towels.

Taking out my Rocs. Gonne cover all my midrange needs with S-line Gremlin, GL Core, heavy DX Shark, and Star Coyote.

Since first posting, I've actually called an audible and took all drivers and putters out.

In:
SSS Magic-putter
E Wizard-driving putter
GL River-heard how awesome and decided to join the club, hopefully will be here this week

I've been thinking about going all Lat64/MVP.

How do the Fuse/Core/Pain hold up against the Comet/Buzzz/Hornet combo?
I played around with a Vector for my OS duties for a bit and didn't really care for the big bead on the bottom.

Also, I don't know if I can drop the comet due to all the fun I've been having with it lately. Fuse better be good...

I'm gonna be dropping the Drone due to playing with the Trident a bit more and realizing its potential on being powered up and down.

I throw an all-Lat bag about once a month. I carry 40-50 loose discs in my trunk all the time, and sometimes I just feel like it's a Latitude day. I usually do this on more open courses, because I find the Discraft lineup from Meteor to Drone more flexible for shorter tighter courses, but if you know your Lat discs well, their mid lineup will do fine.

My main tourney bag is Buzzz SS, Buzzz, Wasp, Hornet, Drone (which I have been throwing much less).

Fuse is a great disc; very glidey and straight with long turnover potential. Core is very much Buzzzish. The Pain in my experience is a little unpredictable, and not as patently overstable as a Hornet. I have all GL mids, though, so an Opto Pain may be very similar.

I agree with you on the Trident; GREAT utility and beefy "longer mid" or "short fairway" disc. Like a Firebird or xXx Jr.

I really like the longer discs, too. Love the Saint. If I ever clean up my form so I don't overflip it, I'll put a River back in. Flow, Halo, Villain. The only thing I need to make a really complete Lat bag is an Opto Pure for putter driving duties.
