Hey everyone, I'm kinda new around here and would love to join this group. The majority of people on here seem to be male so I feel outnumbered lol.
Yeah, the Whippet, And eagle would make a pretty suitable selection for a bag. The wrist problems though keep me from practicing. If it's inflamed you can cancel Christmas on being able to perform, so it goes al the way to the core. No practice, no kind of cnsistency. Meaning poor performance all around, lol.
As ar a my game, ugh. I've pretty much given up this year. I can't find a rythem, i was playing league doubles mostly. I gave up on league single points play. I just can't perform due to injuries that persist. I've essentially gone to playing very occassionally. I've invested time and money back into racing, as my wrist injuries don't affect me there. I wish I could get back into league play, but it's just hard when I can't practice and perform as I know I should
The Eagles and the Gazelle should really perform well. I actually have two CE Gazelle from around that time period. They're in the 160 range. But, I have a 149, and a 154 I think 11X Gazelle that perform remarkably well. They're fantastic for for someone throwing around 400 as a turnover disc. But, 350 or so they'll hold a really nice straight line. So you should fond they'll shape lines very very well. I sometimes carry the 150's as my turnover drivers still. They'll work just as good in moat situations for you as their heavier counterparts would for me. It's worth the price if you plan to throw them. The Eagles could be a better option since they're readily available. I just prefer the Gazelle because it's a tad slower.
Thank you, I just love teaching ;). I really wish I could play with more people on this site.

I'm a very drive dominant player and until recently my putting game was the only thing lacking. What really saved my score was that no matter what situation I'm in, it's very likely I'm getting out of it in one throw.
    Awesomesauce!!!

Thanks again for tracking that disc down for me!!!! I <3 those Rocs sooo much! :) :hfive:
The Pro will definitely be easier to flip but shelf life from tree abuse will probably be shorter than the Champ. I don't know if the Champ would be much difference from the TBs. I'd go with the Pro, since you're learning this anyway. I nearly bought a Pro Leo today, lol. I do carry a 150 pearly Leo just for this purpose so I wouldn't be surprised if you end up following suit. ;)

I can't believe you've been playing this long in NC woods w/o learning how to hyzer flip.
We'll see if the money is worth it an a few months. ;)
My job is ok so far. People seem nice, the work is aight. We'll see how much I enjoy tax stuff this summer. *slowly raises antique revolver to temple*
I was doing an internship over the past year (ended April), and now I'm working full time. It's been ok, a bit rough from university to getting up everyday and working for 8 hours. A lot of stuff to learn though. :\

What's up with you? Starting a new job as well?
I'll probably go ahead and get one of those 170s. It seems like that is about as light as they get, although Davce Dunipace at Innova told me their limited runs usually include weights 165+. I bet if there are any 165s out there, they are pretty rare.
I am interested in those glow gazzis. Mine is a 170 and I was hoping to find a 165. Do you know if there are any glow gazzis in that weight range?
Unfortunately I couldn't make it. I was really looking forward to it, but I had some legal troubles and with gas prices the way they are I just didn't have the extra dough at the moment. I looked through the pics, looks like everyone had a good time.
I had a good start but a few holes into the 2nd round (my favorite course, too) my sinuses kicked up and messed me up. I don't know why but every Spring there's a few weeks where I get a little vertigo to go with my clogged head and I'm pretty limited in what I can do athletically. So, I didn't even bother playing the 2nd day. Other than that, I had a lot of fun.
We are doing the B&B Friday night, then playing the course on Saturday. I'm taking a few spare drivers(Surges) and a spare mid(Buzzz). I normally only carry 12 discs or so, I'll have room to squeeze a few spares in just in case. I'm thinking anything around 90 will be good.
Could I be added to your Chicks Rule group? I'm from Pittsburgh and have been playing for a little over a year now. I'm definitely still at the beginner level but I am really enjoying myself in the sport. It would be great to connect with other women disc golfers!
    Thanks,
    Katie
