    I guess it's one of the older online boards. A buddy of mine knew that I used to play so he invited me to join in.

    The pacing is kind of weird because you're not doing things live but it's still fun.

    Seeing your avatar I assume you are pissed about the new Dune(or excited). I heard Lynch followed his own path. Wondering how many kids you have nowadays. I spent all summer fishing and packing near Snowmass and heading on an everlasting bike packing trip next week. The universe is awesome. So are you, brother!

    Re your 11-4-77 response and Em: Nine out of ten dancers sway back and forth through the jams. It was always that one out of ten ("One in ten thousand come for the show"...if taken to the full extreme...), I was looking for. Tapers section was usually one good place to find those people...

    Encouraging someone to be one of the ten (or one of the ten thousand!) is a be careful what you wish for scenario though.... :)

    The heat and bugs are the biggest problem for me. Kind of defeats the purpose of growing your own, if you're just going to spray a bunch of chemicals on them.

    Didn't plant anything this year. Just didn't feel up to the work. I should get after some herbs, though.

    I've just been using the regular brine with a few adjustments. Next few batches are going to be dedicated to getting a good spicy bread and butter pickle. Most are filled with way too much sugar.

    I'm glad you were only temporarily dead. I logged in apparently just a few hours after chit and fan collided, and I was like what the fvck.

    I had to stop where I was and let to dogs out, but I would have needed another couple hours to bump that anymore. I knew I'd never get there.

    I just used whatever bagged cucumbers Publix had. Not sure on the type.

    Used up all my jars on green beans, asparagus, and cucumbers. Once I free up a couple jars, I'll be trying out some eggs.

    Do you salt your cucumbers before you put them in the brine? I love pickles, but hate cucumbers and everything I've tried still has a cucumber background.
