We just had our Trilogy challenge on Saturday, and the Macana is awesome! It feels like a squashed dagger and putts very straight. It really shines with driving and approaches, where at 270ish feet it was flying dead straight with the smallest fade at the end. The only time it flipped was into a...
I'll add my name to the list of Canadians that prefer communitydiscs. I've ordered from Justin on multiple occasions, and not only is the costumer service great, but the shipping is awesome. No one gives free shipping to Canada, so $4 flat rate is a bargain. Before I discovered community I would...
I just got my first classic hard. It's the flattest disc I've ever seen and feels perfect in the hand, which isn't much of a surprise since the first time I picked up a truth it fit perfectly for my grip. I haven't been able to throw it because of snow and cold, but considering how overstable...
Is there a reason for not wanting any Latitude 64? They make the discs for Dynamic Discs and Westside so they have the same plastics and awesome glide.
Riots actually work really well if you work them on low lines, so just for that they found a spot in my bag. My worst purchase would be blizzard teedevils. Soooooooooo flippy! Pretty much useless, except I keep one for the woods for short tomahawks that need to flip quick and dive left.
Putters: Latitude 64
Midranges: Dynamic Discs
Control Drivers: Latitude 64
Distance Drivers: Westside
I have noticed that the first part of my bag is morally upright. I putt with Pures, the Truth is my go to midrange and the Saint is my favourite driver.
i throw both and really like the pairing. my boatman is 173g VIP and really overstable, and since i dont have the arm for a giant i use it as my headwind and big hyzer disc, which it is awesome at. my 166g VIP sword has been my go to for the past while and is nothing like the boatman. faster and...
Westside rates the Sword to be 12-5-0-2 and the Sorcerer to be 13-6-0-2. If the Sorcerer does turn out to be a faster, glidey-er Sword I will be very interested. Especially if it's widely available in VIP Air.
I used to use soft swans but because of Feldberg and the link below i decided to switch and I'm so glad i did. Still grippy but super consistent. If you prefer soft putters go with that, but I'm guessing your pretty impartial otherwise you wouldn't have asked...
Has anyone thrown enough Riots to notice which tend to be the most overstable? Over the winter I'm hoping to pick up some discs to fill out my distance driver slots for the spring so I'd like to get a range of stabilities.
I have been finding my max weight lucid truth to fly a lot like my max weight suspect, but longer. Has anyone else seen this? Coincidentally they are both pink first runs so they look very similar with very similar roles. Love the combo!
I used to use my Yeti Pro Aviar but have since switched to this combo. For low power hyzers the suspect is very predictable with a small skip that helps get under trees and such. The swan can do straight to turnover and just sticks where it lands. Great combo!
I'm actually going the other direction on this. I have a lucid truth that I love so I'm going to pick up an opto pure for something shorter than it. I guess the only question is, can you handle the truth?
I think I'm going to hold off buying a PA2 sine there's only a month or so left before I get really busy so I might as well wait to see what the Harp is. Right now my entire short range game is VIP/Opto/Lucid plastic so it would fit right in.
