Hey guys!

I had an idea the other day and it has become my latest obsession.
I want to create the ultimate forum approved disc.
With the help of everyone willing, we will design, name & approve a disc for the community of DGCR.

The disc will be approved under DGCR as the manufacturer. The profits made through the sales will go directly to support the site.

I already have Gateway on board to produce the mold if we choose to go through them.
What I'd ask for would be ground level support to fund the mold, aid in art/marketing and overall exposure of the disc.

There are many details still to draft but I am too pumped about this idea to keep it to myself.
What are your thoughts!?

My vote is Fossil Polecat... Aka DGCR Sloth

So, I second the suggestion for a Polecat clone. But, the slowest bird is the American Woodcock, which I happen to think would be a slightly better name than Sloth.... the DGCR Woodcock....

Shrug.

I'm cool with whatever.

I just think would really get behind a mold that is built via this community.

Second run FD would be cool...
A faster, glidier second run FD would be even cooler
That would be a longer Teebird but better

If you want to be DGCR-nerdy about it, I'd say make a lid or a comet-y mid. I feel like a lid would be more likely to make it into the bags of more players though. DGCR loves lids, but people don't seem married to one particular lid. Comet-lovers will never replace their comets most likely (and people who don't like the Comet's shape or diameter won't buy it).

Longer Teebird = meh. Lots of discs fit that description. I feel like the people who ask for that all the time are people who can't get faster discs up to speed (or nowadays, just people who are making the in-joke).

No. The Serpent is in that slot in my bag forever.

To ensure it's a disc that everyone in the community could use, I would recommend a putter.

To suit individual preferences it could easily be made in both a firm and a soft plastic.
